It's immersive, intriguing and just the right side of spooky. This isn't a stand-and-listen tour — it's an engaging guided walk that brings Christchurch's past to life. Along the way you'll hear about a 12th-century castle site, the mysteries surrounding Christchurch Priory, stories linked to haunted pubs, spectral monks, phantom soldiers and poltergeist activity, and rare Norman features you can still see today. The Three Inch Fools present an epic tale of Arthurian adventure and medieval mayhem. In a land of daring quests, dashing knights, and endless jousting, there lived a would-be hero - waiting in the wings - who went by the name of Arthur. When Camelot is rocked to its core by a tragic - and frankly improbable - incident involving a large table of an undisclosed shape, Arthur is thrust into the quest of a lifetime. Will he bravely battle through blistering cold and scorching fire to save his beloved realm, or will he crumble as fate refuses to cooperate? Destiny awaits, chivalry calls, and the quest to end all quests begins. Saddle up - things are about to get legendary. ★★★★★ – "So entertaining…laugh-out-loud funny" ★★★★★ – "Riotously fun. Hugely enjoyable" ★★★★★ – "The ultimate British theatrical experience" – Hastings Independent Press ★★★★★ – "Great fun for the whole family…my kids are still talking about it!" This is an outdoor performance at Highcliffe Castle. Gates open from 6pm, 7pm start. The performance lasts approximately 100 minutes with a 20 minute interval. Bring your own cushions, camping chairs, blankets, and waterproofs - the performance continues come rain or shine! Please do not bring umbrellas as these can obscure the view for others. The on-site cafe will be open for audience members. Picnics are welcome. Book tickets in advance via Eventbrite.
